I mainly created it so I can follow friends and other artists and not miss out on things that aren't posted here on DA, but since I'm there I figured I might as well also post my drawings there, in case some people would rather want to browse Twitter than DA. Also, if I ever make something that's too lewd for DA then I will have a place to share it. However, since I haven't done that before, I think that it's unlikely that that'll happen in the future. For the time being I've posted my three most recent pics there, just to have something rather than nothing.

This morning, my laptop went into a state of limbo. Basically, after booting it, it would show the usual loading screen, then fade to black, then the cursor would appear, but that was it, the screen was otherwise completely black. I tried rebooting multiple times, but it kept happening, sometimes even with a BSOD sprinkled on top of it. I should probably have seen this day coming. My PC is about 3½ years old, and it has been notorious for BSODing very frequently over a long period of time, but being the numpty that I am, I had never bothered to make backups of my local files.

I told my dad about this, and he was kind enough to drop by and try to fix it. He's a computer wizard, and he managed to boot it in safe mode. Except, he was only able to do this a few times out of many tries, so we concluded that this was not a good solution. Instead, I copied about 1 GB worth of important files over to a flash drive while the laptop was still somewhat alive, then we went and bought a new laptop and copied the files over to it. So now I've got a new laptop, I guess.

While selecting the files that I wanted to copy, I came to the realization that the raw Paint Tool SAI files I have are humungous. Like, holy duck, they're large! So in the end I only ended up copying two of the ones I'm the most proud of, namely the one with the stretchy dragon lady and the one with Julia being butt naked. I could hypothetically try to CPR my laptop back to life again like my father did and then copy some more, but I don't think I can be bothered. So for the time being, if I, or anyone else, wants to see how I did the layers in any of my drawings, other than those two, then that's tough luck.

But yeah, in conclusion, I now have a shiny new PC with a near-blank slate of an SSD for my birthday, as opposed to a bricked PC for my birthday. I have also bought some cloud storage space, because I won't allow that shit to happen twice.
